Research Fellow in Biomedical Ethics

£27,466 - £32,796 per annum

The Department of Philosophy seeks an applicant for a bid to the  
Wellcome Trust for a 5-year Research Fellow post. After five years,  
the expectation is that the post will continue as a Lectureship.  
Please note that an appointment to this role is dependent upon the  
success of the application to the Wellcome Trust, and would be  
tenable from 1 January 2009. The Department has a wide range of  
expertise in theoretical as well as applied ethics and in history and  
philosophy of medicine and science. Applicants must hold a PhD or  
equivalent doctorate and have a track record of publications in  
biomedical ethics.
