We have an opportunity for a post-doc (or someone nearing the completion of
their PhD) in the Centre for Applied Ethics at the University of British
Columbia (Vancouver, Canada). The focus of the research project is on the social
and ethical implications of genomic science applications. The position would be
very well suited to someone with training in qualitative methods, STS, or
deliberative democracy. More details on the position can be found at:
http://www.ethics.ubc.ca/upload/job-pdf-AGIP-fall%202008.pdf and on the W.
Maurice Young Centre for Applied Ethics at: http://ethics.ubc.ca/.

Alternatively, email either Kieran O'Doherty at kcodoher at interchange.ubc.ca,
Patrick Lewis at palewis at interchange.ubc.ca, or me mburgess at ethics.ubc.ca.

Thanks in advance for any publicity or references you can provide.
