Hello everyone

As you'll have seen from Heba's post, we've reactivated the
Interpretation, Method, Critique listserv. It was a pandemic victim, but
it's self isolated, had its vaccinations (don't ask which) and is back
in action.

Furthermore, with guidance from our friends in IT we've changed the
settings: as you've seen from Heba's example, anyone in the list can
post directly to the group on anything
interpretive-methodological-critical: news about events (online or on
campus), activities and gatherings, new publications, or otherwise.

Many of you will be aware of the I+M listserv that our colleagues in the
US set up -- interpretationandmethods at lists.digital-discourse.org -- and
I'd encourage folks who are not on that list to join it as well to stay
abreast of news about happenings there. From time to time we'll have
some repostings from that list for those who are not on it but in this
list will be especially interested to circulate news and contents about
goings on among ourselves.

We are working on a series of informal IMC talks and dialogues to run
Fridays from October - early December. More soon. Meanwhile, if anyone
has a work in progress or a recent publication or something else that
they'd like to present to the group on, do get in touch about it.

The website
(https://politicsir.cass.anu.edu.au/research/projects/interpretation-method-critique)
is on our to-do list. In the meantime, for interpretivist resources
generally there's also: https://connect.apsanet.org/interpretationandmethod/

So, spread the word about the list to anyone who you think would be
interested, and welcome, or welcome back.

Nick and April
