[IMCnetwork] Call for Papers: (En)countering Europe as global, othered & transperipheral voices @ UACES Belfast 2023

Dear IMC Network,

We are pleased to co-organise a themed track on (En)countering Europe as global, othered, and transperipheral voices (EUROGLOT) at the 53rd European Studies Conference in Belfast (and online) in September. We ask how we might come to ‘speak’ differently about Europe and its many entanglements in world politics.

EUROGLOT is especially seeking paper and panel proposals that:
—employ interpretive methods and methodologies on EU policies, integration theories, and external/diplomatic relations.
—think through the problem of Eurocentrism in European Studies by amplifying Global South and Global East positionalities.
