The United Nations will offer a Regional Course in International Law to be 
held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, from 6 February to 2 March 2012.

Offered by the UN Office of Legal Affairs Codification Division in 
cooperation with the Government of the Federal Democratic Republic of 
Ethiopia and the UN Economic Commission for Africa, the course aims to 
familiarise participants with current issues of international law and 
intends to update and deepen their knowledge in the field.

The Regional Course will be conducted in French and is open to qualified 
professionals from Member States of the United Nations which are also 
members of the regional group of African States.

The target audience is mid-level government officials and young university 
teachers of international law, age 24-45.
The deadline for applications is Friday, 14 ‎October 2011.
