Dear all,

I am in the process of finalizing my book “Introduction to
international environmental law” (only about 240 pages), since the last
one in Finnish language was published in 1994. It may well be that in
the later stage this intro book, which aims to address also broader (lay
educated) audience, will be translated into English as well.

My request * or plea * to You all would be this: would you happen to
possess any photos taken by yourself, which you could send to me via
e-mail attachment - of e.g. development projects (hopefully with some
international linkage), environmental disputes, demonstrations (perhaps
some of you have even visited the Pulp Mills surroundings), strategies
by environmental organizations, environmental problems or e.g. pictures
of heated disputes in international environmental conferences of the
parties (or the like).

We all know that the web is full of this material but unfortunately it
costs quite a lot to pay for the copyrights.

Please respond to me off-list. I would truly appreciate if you could
help me in my earnest attempt at providing Finnish audience a bit better
view of what international environmental law is all about.
