Research position to work on project on peoples’ tribunals and international law at Australian Human Rights Centre, UNSW

The Australian Human Rights Centre in the Faculty of Law at the University of New South Wales is seeking to appoint a Research Associate/Senior Research Associate work on a project, funded by an ARC Discovery Grant on “Peoples’ Tribunals and International Law”.  The project, led by Professor Andrew Byrnes, analyses the role and impact of international peoples' and citizens' tribunals and their use of the norms and procedures of international law.
This is a full-time fixed-term position available from the time of appointment until 31 December 2013. In an appropriate case, the position may also be offered as a part-time fixed-term position for the same period. It is proposed to make an appointment as soon as possible after the deadline, following shortlisting and interviews, with commencement by 1 July 2012.
