For those of you who are wondering about the "Smart Cards: The Issues"
conference, it is on in Sydney this Friday. Speakers include Peter
McGauran, Minister for Science & Technology, John Button, Chair of the
Commission for the Future and Janine Haines, President of the Australian
Privacy Charter Council. 

Registration is only $295 (or just $195 for academic or community
