Timed Internet Calls to be Strictly Business

The coverage of Testra attempting to introduce timed charges for
internet calls also said something to the effect that 'normal voice
phone calls would remain unaffected'.

Hmmmmmm.  And if I'm using the internet for a voice phone call?

Given Telstra's struggle to understand the internet, its
implications, and how people use it, its interesting that the
Federal Govt. is giving the tender for its giant Electronic Commerce
front end development to Telstra.

I with the Telstra folk on that project all the luck in the world.
They're gonna need it.
