[Comment:
I'm a strong critic of economic analyses of privacy, because almost
all of the many that have been published since this all began in the
mid-1960s have been viciously anti-privacy in nature, and myopically
and willingly in favour of the efficiency of business and government
at any cost:

The fact that this comes out of Singapore doesn't fill me with
confidence that the originators will be sensitive to psychological,
social, political or even the more liberal forms of economic needs.
And nor does the highlighting of the naive idea of 'property rights',
and the strong referencing of arch-pro-business positivists Alan
Westin and Richard Posner. (I'm embarrassed to admit that I've never
looked at Stiglitz).
*But* I haven't read the contents yet, far less analysed them, so I
post the message on as a matter of interest and probable relevance.
