...isn't the question would people buy support for RedHat Linux from
Oracle or RedHat?

or choose Redhat linux at all? I recently got SPAMMED with something
about SUSE Linux & Novell

My own experience in 2003, was better with Knoppix on my laptop and more
recently playing with Ubuntu/video over the last 12months.

But ofcourse the ultimate quiet acheiver in FOSS is Apache....their
governance model provides interesting reading and could answer glen's
earlier question
