And still, even now, I see no reference in the advisory to either of
(a) the operating system and related software which is affected by this trojan; and
(b) the name of the vendor of such software.

Amazing when you think about it. Similar to advising that the front door
might possibly fall off your car when driving, without mentioning the car
manufacturer.

As Bruce Schneier keeps reminding the IT industry, this kind of nasty behaviour
on the part of man and software alike will continue until software manufacturers
are held legally liable for the scant regard they place on security.
