This was an excellent seminar, equally useful for IT professionals 
and lawyers. The presentation slides and referenced documents are 
linked from the announcement page 
<http://cyberlawcentre.org/2006/talks/ltt_mason.htm>. The Cyber Law 
Center has done an outstanding job with formatting the material. The 
shiny new law building at UNSW is also impressive.

The only quibble I would have is with Stephen's use of "Electronic 
Signatures". The term is so loosely used, it might be less confusing 
just to refer to "Signatures". More on the seminar at

Perhaps there will be a meeting of minds between lawyers and IT 
people on digital evidence. The IT people have been approaching the 
same issues from the point of view of implementing record management 
systems and the standards they are required to comply with
