[LINK] new white pages site

Following on from the discussion about the new White Pages site, I 
used the form on the new site to ask about a text only version.
It took a week or so, but I eventually received a reply stating that 
a new text only version of the site is in final stages or testing and 
development and will be released in the coming weeks.

No firm commitment to a release date, but at least they appear to 
have a text only version on the way....

I hope the text version is more accessible: the dynamically redrawn 
areas in the navigation seem to be broken if viewed in Opera and 
Mozilla, and when the home page is view in linear mode the "skip to 
content" link appears AFTER you have tabbed through almost 90 other links.

<rant>
As they have invested the time and money in a redevelopment, why 
couldn't the end result be a site that didn't need a text only 
version to have a good level of accessibility?
