I thought, that under the Workplace Surveillance Act, that employees
had to be informed that such activities were taking place and that
the use of such techniques without informing the employee was illegal?
If so, this would mean that there could be many appeals against the sackings.
The cynical part of me just thinks it's yet another way for the govt
to pare down services for a sector of the community
that they have no good will in supporting (ie the unemployed).
