[LINK] Qantas bans Dell laptop batteries

Let's just work this through.

The consumer electronics brands have been on the warpath for three years 
or more with the line that "counterfeit batteries are dangerous".
Sony sells laptops with batteries that don't catch fire.
Sony outsources battery supply for Dell and Apple to an unbranded 
Chinese manufacturer.
Dell and Apple buy batteries from Sony which catch fire.
Other computer makers try leaving Dell hanging out to dry:

...and then Apple issues a recall.
