it's about time some single-issue anti-microsoft fanatics realised that
not every problem in the world has some connection to microsoft.

in other words, it has NOTHING to do with microsoft.  microsoft, while they
may be monopolistic and evil corporate scumbags, aren't the source of all
problems in the world.  they're only responsible for crap software.

insecurity and unauthorised access are far from the only concerns about
databases containing data about people.

for some databases, some kinds of data, the very existence of the
database is itself a massive infringement of privacy and a danger to the
people whose data is stored.
