Tab Mix Plus adds a couple of tool bar icons but they don't install to the
toolbar by default.  The closed tabs restore icon gets a single click to
restore the last closed tab or displays a drop down list of recently closed
tabs.  But you need to manually drop it on your tool bar
(view|toolbars|customise|<etc>) to use it.  There's also a similar closed
windows icon, but I generally work in a single window so it's not for me.
(?..!).

Some other extensions quietly add icons to the available set, eg IE Tab,
NoScript.  Often not useful, but worth checking.
