It was connect.com.au and the company name was connect.com.au Pty Ltd.
People invariably shortened the name to "connect com" which annoyed
their marketing people endlessly.

connect.net.au was the domain which referenced the addresses for connect.com.au's
network (ie, stuff punter's shouldn't care about like router names).
