Robbery! I'm just shopping around for a new ISP because my 6mo
contract has run out.

The trick in the above is the limited data number at 600MB. If the
problem as was stated in the story is the slow speed for downloading
movies, then that 600MB is going to be used up VERY quickly. My
monthly data usage, without movies as most of my stuff is email and
webpages, is running about 1.5GB on average per month. That is 2.5X
the $60 allotment from Tel$tra on a 512 connection.

I wonder what their over quota rates are? At one time they were
$150/Gig - more robbery. I went to the website and they say the
Liberty plan shapes back to 64kb. That will really be a shocker to
the punters, eh?

It's also a 12 month minimum contract. Most bb ISPs are offering
either 6 mo or no contract with a $65 exit fee if you leave before
the 6mo has passed which is paid to Tel$tra if you're on their DSLAM.

I think Tel$tra may need to rethink their plans. The competition has
outdone them once again.

Who is running that company?!
