School children will be pleased.  Internet proxy caching will
be permitted "for efficiency purposes" only so all those school
proxy caches established for access control purposes will
need to go.

With the strict liability clauses they'll be able to watch the
AFP arrest the head of the school :-)


Really, this is a crap piece of legislation and the Attorney-General's
Department seems to be unwilling to let the senators save the AGD from
even their most basic errors.  Para 3.55 is a wonderful example,
with the AGD demonstrating their complete lack of knowledge about the
actual use of iTunes and the iPod.  Something is wrong when most teenagers
know more about the subject than a federal government representative
to a Senate committee.
