I think I'm a little too young to have encountered that, at least in 
the places I lived in the US. And nowadays it is quite common for the 
gender differences to be tracked. This recent election was the result 
of the female vote. You can see it in the marginal states where the 
Dems took over the Senate. I guess Dubya's snubbing of Cindy Sheehan 
was a mistake, ya think?
