Intolerance is an absolute evil.
It's corollary is Absolutism, which, with Tribalism, underlies Fundamentalism.

Iraq is a demonstration of Fundamentalists duelling and a Lack of Moral
Fibre in the population: "All that is needed for evil to flourish is for
Good (wo)men to do nothing."

Proof by Demonstration of LMF:
 - Poland and the "Solidarity" strike at the Gadansk shipyards in 1980.

This led directly to the fall of the Berlin Wall, USSR and the
1989 Tiananmen Square uprising.

There's the power of the media (and now the Net) - to get the story
around, to give people hope and inspiration...
