nope.
i've got no use for a site like that, anyway...and i think it's a bad
idea.
especially when there are to-do list programs available for every
computer, operating system, windowing environment and hand-held device
(including modern mobile phones)....todo lists are THE killer app for
PDAs.
why would anyone want to put their personal data and to-do list on
someone else's computer, where they lose all control over it? and when
the site's privacy policy says:
"Personal information collected by Remember The Milk may be stored
and processed in the United States or any other country in which
Remember The Milk maintains facilities. By using Remember The Milk,
you consent to any such transfer of information outside of your
country.
We reserve the right to transfer your personal information in the
event of a transfer of ownership of Remember The Milk, such as
acquisition by or merger with another company. In such an event,
Remember The Milk will notify you before information is transferred
and becomes subject to a different privacy policy."
i'm not even sure that's legal in australia (RTM is, according to whois,
based in Chatswood, NSW). i really hope you can't get around australian
privacy laws by simply posting a notice in the fine print that you'll be
exporting data to some country without adequate data protection.
this sort of site is a marketing droid's wet dream.
