Actually Jan, I installed it two weeks ago on my new fresh hard drive
install and it actually works, unlike 1.x which stopped working at all for me.
The hanging problem and memory leak I experienced hasn't shown itself in
this version. It also seems to instead of spawning threaded replicas of
itself that when one crashes they all crash and vanish, it now spawns a
master with children that are independent on a crash.
They took away the "X" to close tabs from the far right hand side of the
tabs (god damn it!) Each Tab of course has an "X" to close it, but then you
chase tabs!
Also now if you have more than the number of tabs that can fit across you
window width nicely, it adds "<" and ">" arrows on each end and has a
pulldown tab list on the right, which is nice, but occasionally used.
I'd love a feature that allows me to turn a tab into a new window though :)
