If it's not cross platform it's pretty pointless as far as I'm
concerned.
Better than Firefox? What a question. Who's their competition then,
a bunch of hobbyists? You'd have to hope IE, the product of the
foremost computer software company in the world was better than a
bunch of hobbyists wouldn't you? The internet is such a leveller
isn't it?
How long has it taken Microsoft to "innovate"? What are their major
"innovations"? One of the biggies as far as security goes is to
remove some of the hooks that embed ie in the windows kernel. But
all other browsers have had that bit of security all along.
