[LINK] Moved to Linux

Hi Richard,
commiserations on having such a bad run recently ..

Perhaps its also worth noting that in Linux, one small part of the free
and open source software (FOSS) universe, if you feel strongly enough
about a software package problems you are usually in a position to fix
it directly.

Either fix the code yourself or pay someone else to fix the code.

With proprietary code you get it fixed when their business interests
align with fixing it.

In essence it was frustrations with the quality of proprietary software
in the first place that started the FOSS movement. It empowers users to
take the software in the directions that are useful to them.

Regards Anthony.
