[LINK] Paris leaps ahead with broadband

Making a mockery of our government's broadband proposal, in Paris they're building a 100mbps fibre-to-the-home network. BT says it's too expensive for them to do it. The issue is covered in an interesting story on BBC Radio 4's The World Tonight this morning our time and is available online for around a week.
