Makes me wonder if the free to air or the gubmint have nudge wink 
deals with Foxtel to not do this. I would love a couple more channel types:
old b&w movies
cartoons [rocky and bullwinkle, looney tunes, etc]
weather channel, even if it were just a graphic with updates of 
satellite imagery
a clock
educational programs (there are quite a few of those available, used 
to be on Open Learning)
arts and music

there must be a lot of programming from the hundreds of cable 
stations in the US that aren't being shown here that could be.

why are we deprived?
