Hurrah, for once Firefox wins! I regularly check Australian IT using
Firefox 1.8.1.6 and haven't had one of the problems outlines. It's also
FAST to download, as are Fairfax's IT pages.

Home page loads okay, but slowly, with Safari/Mac.

And going to a subsequent page fails. It tries to load for more than  
2 minutes, and it eventually stalls.

Ditto, not that I visited it much in the first place.
