since this is from an ad agency, they will make that happen by what 
they supply their clients. It harkens back to the 'big blue marble' 
view of the Earth from the moon/space. It may be more unifying than 
'green' since green depends on blue and much of the world doesn't 
have blue or green!

This is probably a 'get what you sow' result. If governments and 
software companies are insisting on 'knowing all' about people with 
no choice by the subject to not be a subject [note the harkening back 
to monarchy in that word], then it's only fair that the lookers-on in 
democracies/western civs receive the same social behaviour. If the 
institutional value is surveillance, then the value of the info and 
handling of it will change. Equality in all things, sort of.
