Yes but it would increase our coal usage by an order of magnitude. We  
_might_ be able to sequester what we are using now for electricity  
but not what we would need to make liquid fuels even at a fraction of  
the current level. We need to drastically CUT our coal use to combat  
global warming not increase it.

Global warming and peak oil are non-identical carbon twins like a  
rock and a hard place.
