I actually like the wiki page a lot. The iana page has just the
official and correct list of assigned port numbers and that's all.
Often the official ports are rarely used. They also often have both
tcp and udp ports when only one is really used.

The wiki page has a nice overview. It talks about the three ranges
(privileged or well-known ports, registered ports and dynamic/private
ports). It also talks about unofficial ports and common use ports.
None of this is in the official iana page. The wiki list also shows
unofficial and common port usage and conflicting port usage.

The iana page is useful as an official reference but the wiki page
has much more useful information.
