no stats, just another anecdote:

it must be pretty rare, even with flouridated water, because every time
i visit a dentist they express surprise and some amazement that not only
do i not have any fillings but that i don't actually need any. they say
it's extremely unusual for someone my age (40 next month) to not need any
fillings.
