i've had the same problem with two recent messages i posted.
both of them were replies to Stewart Fist's posts.
the only headers in them that were "different" than replies to other messages
were the References and In-Reply-To headers, which referred to Stewart's
original messages.
e.g.
References: <200702121121.l1CBL7PP024739 at anumail0.anu.edu.au> <C1F74267.7FF%stewart_fist at optusnet.com.au>
In-Reply-To: <C1F74267.7FF%stewart_fist at optusnet.com.au>
my guess is that mailman or ANU's anti-spam stuff doesn't like the
optusnet.com.au domain or, possibly/more likely, doesn't like the "%"
symbol in those headers (even though it's a perfectly valid character
for headers).
