i agree with you about commerciality being basically irrelevant, but the
wikipedia article you quote agrees with me that the distinction between
'erotica' and 'porn' is highly subjective.

there is no hard and fast distinction. as the article quotes "erotica is
what i like, pornography is what you like, you pervert!".
