*Open* Source, not *Free*. They release the source code, so it's "Open
Source"... Q.E.D.
[Plus they actually *hire* people to do a bunch of work put in the public domain. e.g. "OzLabs"]
Look at the license for "Qt" toolkit from Trolltech, the basis of KDE,or for MySQL - Free for use and commercial versions... You get the samesource, but different Rights to it.
