I find the problem with burning discs on Mac OS X is not the CPU (there
is very little for the CPU to do!) but the data bus, i.e. accessing
the hard drive is slow and painful since the bus is real busy throwing
data at the ROM drive. I would assume the same goes for Windows.
The original post mentioned "100% of resources were consumed", which probably
refers to bus overload or similar. I doubt the CPU was the problem. And if
the machine seized up, there was probably a configuration problem with
the hardware. Please call Mickeysoft support on 1-900-900-9000 and have
your credit card details handy :)
