And taking that challenge, what about communal settings for use of 
limited resources like broadband? Are there similarities? For 
example, given the way wireless works, does it make sense for a 
multi-unit apartment block to do a body corporate 'buy' of services 
and reduce the overall costs to their individual unit occupants by 
installing LANs? Is this done anywhere? The ISPs might hate it, but 
it would share around unused data quotas (I have yet to reach mine on 
a monthly basis) or to purchase an unlimited plan/s to allow for the data hogs.
