Since when? I too, have noted the sign at the carpark of Telstra
tower warning about possible non-operation of remote controls for
door locking etc.
I am yet to ever see anyone who has been affected.
Whilst in that carpark, I have locked and unlocked my doors using a
remote, listened to AM and FM radio stations being broadcast from the
tower and other locations, and used a mobile phone, although I was
not sure of the base station location.

I am yet to actually meet or observe any person who has actually
experienced difficulties due to their proximity to a TV or mobile
phone transmission tower.
