the fact that people DO make decisions based on bullshit doesn't
actually mean that bullshit is USEFUL for that purpose or helps in any
real way.

it's the corporate-era equivalent of "touching wood" or "holding your
lucky rabbit's foot"....might make you feel better but it doesn't
actually do anything.

ps: bullshit is also useful as a building material - lots of earth
houses all over the world are made out of mud & dung & straw.
