"Linux viruses" are always hard to classify.

* There's plenty of them
* They exist across multiple Linux platforms
* Sometimes application software is classified as a "Linux worm" (eg PHPBB) which
  might skew the numbers.

Anyone who preaches Linux purely on its security track records needs to re-evaluate
their security knowledge. Its had its fair share of "really dumb mistakes" which
have cropped up.

(Now, openness, auditing, accountability and speed of bug resolution - thats a
completely different story.)
