After the success of the 2006 Innovative Ideas Forum, the National
Library is holding a one-day Forum on April 19. The detailed program
will be available soon, but the speakers this year will include Abby
Blachly, one of the founders of LibraryThing; Courtney Gibson, Head of
Arts and Entertainment at the ABC; and Professor Amanda Spink of QUT,
one of the most widely cited authors in library and information science.

Mark the date in your diary, and look out in the coming weeks for more
information about the program and how to register.  As with the 2006
event, attendance will be free and will include lunch and teas.
