could we perhaps have a new form of intellectual property, PI (Personal
Identity) which requires organisations to only access personal data that
they are legally required to do or that you volunteer to supply?
you might charge a fee to some people (i'd make it HUGE for spammers)
and it would surely be linked to Moral Rights which protect Attribution
and Integrity.
