Look my view is this.

If they can pull of a Candid Camera style segment and it's funny and
no one gets hurt and the "victims" see the funny side and enjoy it,
then that's awesome.

If they have to have a few conspirators to pull off the stunt, then
not only are they doing the right thing with the administration of
businesses and organisation, but they are creating a live essence of
entertainment.

It's no different to a film producer asking a live event organiser if
they can "interrupt" the event at some arranged time to "shoot
footage" for a film.

The Chasers example was the Opera-house concert.

I've had the same thing (not the satyr, but for serious material)
with Boxing matches, weddings, church services, you name it.

I think i's commendable that people will entertain the approach and
allow such things to take place. For audiences at the Opera House
concert it sure makes it a memorable night!

They also showed a snippet of "The 3 Minute Terrorists" in black
printed T-shirts stockings over the heads and a camera leading them in.

Now seriously, OK, I guess it's inspiration for a real bank robbery
or terrorist attack and in the future people will by default be more
cautious because you can only ever pull a prank off once in the real world.

I say good on them! I'd love them to crash one of our sets during
production, it would be an all out war on who got the best
footage! We'd even share ours with them! Man the BTS DVD would be great!
