Costello says targeting marginals 'doesn't matter'. At least the ALP 
is calling them on their misleading statements about 12Mb speeds:


But Labor communications spokesman Stephen Conroy accused the 
Government of being dishonest about the broadband speed it will be 
able to deliver under the new plan.

Mr Conroy called on ACCC head Graeme Samuel to take action.

"What you're seeing from this Government is a deliberate attempt to 
misrepresent the speeds that it will be delivering," he said.

"They know that wireless cannot deliver on average 12 megabits.

"I'm calling on Graeme Samuel to write to the Prime Minister, the 
same as he would any corporation that wilfully misrepresented the 
speeds that it will be delivering."
