******  The Federal Government looks set to delay the introduction of 
digital television citing a lack of consumer enthusiasm as the 
reason. The initial date was set for 2008; however according to 
Minister Coonan the date now looks unrealistic given that only about 
10% of Australians have digital TV.

Telstra (ASX: TLS) has appointed Talent2 to build and operate its new 
central recruitment centre, enabling potential employees to approach 
Telstra directly, rather than going through a recruitment agency.

Hostworks (ASX: HWG) has won a three year contract to guarantee the 
24/7 availability of Southern Cross Broadcasting's mytalk.com.au, a 
national talk radio and music online portal.

A federal court in Texas has granted the CSIRO's application for an 
injunction to prevent an infringement of its wireless network patent 
by US based Buffalo-group companies. The ruling prevents the sales of 
all products until a license to CSIRO technology is negotiated. The 
case started in 2005 after the industry failed to accept CSIRO's 
offers to license its WLAN patents.

The Communications Legislation Amendment (Content Services) Bill 2007 
has been passed in Parliament. The legislation extends the regulation 
that applies to content delivered over convergent applications such 
as over the internet, television or mobile phones. To view the Bill,

Google advertisers will only be billed when products or services are 
purchased on their site under a new pay-per-action pricing trial 
being rolled out in Australia.

LogicaCMG, has been awarded the contract from the Victorian 
Department of Education to design and implement an electronic 
document management system.

TechnologyOne Limited (ASX: TNE) is continuing its expansion by 
opening its doors in Darwin to serve its growing client base in the 
Northern Territory.

AusRegistry International Pty Ltd has been chosen by the 
Telecommunications Regulatory Authority of the <?xml:namespace prefix 
= st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />United Arab 
Emirates to provide Registry Software Services for the .ae Domain 
Name. AusRegistry International will be the official vendor of 
Registry Software for the .ae domain for five years
