There's a good article in today's Canberra Times from Peter Martin,  
discussing the Hew Raymond Griffiths sentencing, and the odious  
comparisons between theft at gunpoint and copyright infringement (my  
choice of words to describe these two acts is deliberate).

Not a great deal of discussion of our loss of sovereignty as a nation  
with the implementation of the Australia-United States Free Trade  
Agreement, but perhaps it will start the ball rolling and make  
legislators think long and hard of how to make useful amendments to  
what must surely be a most draconian act.
