Disney has also gained infamy for adopting the song "The Lion Sleeps
Tonight" as its own ... for use in the Lion King (?) The South African
family that owns the rights to the song was/is trying to obtain redress.

Seems that these mega corps think it is fine to screw the little
guy, but my goodness do they bring down the full force of the law
when they have a reason to squeal.

Do any Linkers recall how Micro$oft and a few other big corps were
trying to get the CSIRO to cease and desist its enforcement of
its own patent on some enabling aspect of wireless technology?
Once again, a glaring case of selfish and greedy double standards.
It is fine for the big end of town to enforce one of its many
ill-gotten patents, but when someone else's patent gets in the
way of their profits, they scream blue murder.

It all leaves one quite breathless. I guess hypocrisy is a
dish best eaten out in the back, out of sight, with a few kilos
of inflated hubris for seasoning.
