On a slight tangent to the discussion to date, it seems that broadband in the
city doesn't equate to Internet Access.

Actually getting and keeping PCs connected and operational on the www doesn't
necessarily follow broadband. So, maybe some thought needs to
be given about the speed required to support interactive thin clients (ie not 
TVs) to reduce the support requirements.

After all, we are not satisfied with a telephone line we want a telephone we can
speak through.
